Nathan Eckenrode
I make things in series. Paintings, poems, photographs, music, software, whole imagined worlds — the instrument keeps changing, but the song doesn't. Set a frame — a hundred days, a hundred poems, twelve emotions, a thousand villages — and fill it without missing.
I spent about twenty years in New York City and now work from Jacksonville, Florida. n8k99 is the thread that ties it all together.
- Thought Police — the writing. Morning pages made public, alongside fifteen years of recovered archives (2011–2018) sitting beside today's posts.
- Living Room Music — a weekly electronic-music podcast, made in the living room, sometimes with friends who come along for the ride.
(A third — The Myths of Orbis, a worldbuilding project — is still to come.)
It's all self-hosted — my own stack, my own words, no big-tech landlord.
