…the kids lost the access to the dominoes and Connect Four game pieces for a week because they were dropping them into the humidifier as if it were a coin slot. They were attempting to recreate a rainbow that they discovered by taking the humidifier motor and putting colored tiles on it while upside down. Several times I issued the warning, in a stern Sergent-Major’s Voice, “the humidifier is not a toy.”
Insatiable curiosity being what it is, they persisted and thus the toys, which they were inserting into the tool which makes the heat in the apartment bearable, have been removed.
It will be funny to me in a few minutes, but right now, its just annoying.
