choose to be

she gets busy
working to avoid
money stress
she is gone
all day
to earn it
i am out and about
fixing things
hanging stuff
and that connection
is not gone
is not weak
but we just haven’t
used it lately
its still there
and when i think
in the moment
a weak question
that leaves
one door
labelled doubt,
then i decide
to walk through
the one called
no doubt.
