heat of fury unleashed
blasting into a small child’s
ego which is balancing on a fragile
edge after having the delights
of an adventure yanked
from beneath her feet
and yet the child
diligently, but not eagerly
presses on with the assignment
she did not pick directly
and there is a chance
an option, for forgiveness
and an easing of the pains
felt by everyone
and that icy hot blast can
return to the passionate
place of placid patience
