My House is a Mess

This is nothing new, I am a sloppy homekeeper. It is because it bores me, but also because I get really caught up in whatever creative little projects I am involved in. And when a creative/technical project happens, everything else stops. FOREVER.

Last night, for example, I decided it was time to try to restore some data on an external hard drive. A super involved project, finding cables, places to plug in power, etc. Setting up multiple hard drives to possibly move data from one to the other. Really quite involved, and then when I hit a hard stopping wall that made me see that the solution is not a one night fix - I got dinner, it was friday so Fish & Chips. Once I was fed, sleepy time hit me and I went upstairs to read a book, and I woke up several hours later with the book on my chest and cat on my head.

This mornign when I walked downstairs, there were cables all over the floor, stretching here and there. There was a pile of stuff emptied out of the box they had been stored in, and everything was, wow, I don't have a word for it. But now, while I am waiting for today's first match to air, I have to tidy up.
